Shatta Wale has been in the news for some days now after his ban from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards because he had not apologized to Charterhouse.
Right After the ban Mr Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale released a tune titled “Am Okay” which got people wondering whether the song was meant for his ban or not.

In an interview with Sammy flex  on AM PLUZZ  on Pluzz 89.9 fm  Friday 26th February 2016, when asked whether his song Am Okay was because he was banned from the Awards and this is what he had to say,

“In life when you wish for something and you get it you feel proud, I was always asking God for another opportunity in my life to bring out hit songs and I always promised God that anytime that I get this opportunity I will let the world know that its Him who has made me   turn into what I am today, and in this song I just want to let everybody know that so far as you have life you should be okay”. 
“I played this song to motivate my fans that in life anything that happens to you,  you should just remember one thing and that thing should be life” he further added.

On the 4th of March 2016 at 7pm, Shatta Wale goes face-to-face with the ‘in di streets yute’, Alkaline in a dancehall  battle at the Accra Sports Stadium.
