Seattle Sounder's Obafemi Martins joins Shanghai Shenhua

Obafemi is set to make a move from Seattle Sounders to China's  Shanghai Shenhua in a multi-million dollar deal, according to BBC Sport.
The 31 - year old Nigerian Striker has made 84 appearances for Sounders, scoring 43 goals during his era at the CenturyLink Field, as well as helping the club win the 2014Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and MLS Shield, along making the MLS All-Star in 2015.

The Striker, who joins Senegalese international Demba Ba at the Shanghai club, becomes the current high-profile play to make the change to the Super League.
Other familiar names such as Colombia striker Jackson Martinez, former Chelsea midfielder Ramires, Cameroon captain Stephane Mbia and ex-Serie A duo Gervinho and Fredy Guarin are among the other big Chinese signings in 2016.
