Veteran Actor William Addo's Surgical Bills Settled by UK-Based Pastor

Brian Amoateng, UK-based Ghanaian Pastor has settled the surgical bills of Ghanaian veteran actor, William Addo.

The settlement of bills came after there was news all over that the actor was close to losing his sight, if he doesn't raise Ghc5,000.00 (Five thousand Ghana Cedis) for an eye surgery.

Mr Addo in an interview on Hitz FM's Daybreak Hitz on sometime back revealed that he is slowly losing his sight as a result of glaucoma and cataract and that if immediate care was not taken, he would lose his sight.

After the veteran actor's story generated much news, UK-based Ghanaian Pastor, Mr Amoateng decided to settle the bills for the actor.

Eyra Doe who presented the money on behalf of the Pastor who could not make it to Ghana said that it is his (Pastor Amoateng) hope that the veteran actor would gain back his sight.

William Addo upon receiving the money, expressed gratitude to the Good Samaritan, Pastor Brian Amoateng and his foundation for their support. He prayed for God's blessing of restoration for the man of God.
"I am humbled and touched by this kind gesture. God richly bless you and i hope to meet you these days", he said.
In an interview this was what the Pastor had to say, 
"William Addo was one of my favourite actors when I was young so when I saw the story I told myself, if I can help him, why don't I help and save him from going blind.
William Addo also disclosed that the surgery was done late Thursday afternoon and he is hoping to have his eyes restored after the plasters are taken off the eyes.
