While some Ghanaians believe 'Mahama Paper' sang by Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is an official campaign song for the National Democratic Congress(NDC) after notable party executives were seen singing along and dancing to the song at the just ended NDC manifesto launch in Sunyani, Spokesperson for Shatta Movement has clearly stated that the song is not a campaign song for the ruling party.

Chris Koney, spokesperson for the Shatta Movement music group said Shatta Wale has no relationship with the ruling party and the song 'Mahama Paper' was not meant for their campaign for votes in the upcoming elections.

He revealed that people at the campaign grounds were only doing what usually happens when the artiste songs are played during public events.
" The NDC have not not yet written to us to allow them use Shatta Wale's song for their campaign launch and am not sure Shatta Wale and his movement will give them the go ahead"  he said
Chris further added that Wale has been inolved in this promotion of peace during the electionerering period. However, he hasn't endorsed any political candidate.
