She lived with her dad when growing up.Her dad would forever be in her heart,he did all kinds of job even working as a watchman in his late 70's just to push her and her siblings throigh school.Her dad did not have much so she had to do petty jobs to support herself.These experiences she went through made her strong and hardworking.She even became a hawker and a carpenter once.Her dad died on the day she was writing her final paper for her Master's in International Journalism.

Gifty Anti,a renowned journalist attended Tema Community 8" Number 1"Basic School where she gained admission to Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School in Saltpond in the Central Region where she was the entertainment prefect.She later went to Ghana Institute of Journalism after being denied admission to study Land Economy at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

She worked as a Floor Manager at GTV ,her first broadcast experience was at Joy FM where she was a regular panelist on the "Young Generation" and "Every Woman" programmes.She worked with GBC TV division for 17 years including a one year national service,she resigned on December 2013.

Currently, she hosts her own show known as "The Standpoint" a private production by GDA Concepts since 2008.It is aired on GTV and looks at gender issues.She is the President and Founder of the Girl in Need Foundation and a Women's Right Advocate and Activist.

The popular TV presenter loves listening to music.Not long ago,she got married at the age of 45 to Nana Ansah Kwao at a grand ceremony which was covered by every media house in the world and is expecting a child soon.She is thankful to God for the blessings upon her life.Recent awards won are:
- Overall Female Young Professional Role Model of the Year 2013.
- RTP Female TV Presenter of the Year 2014
- Chavva (Life Giver) Awards 2015
- Foundation For Women and Children Affairs Leadership Award 2014.
